Test Duration
The Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
During this time, your blood glucose levels are measured before and after drinking a glucose solution. The test monitors how your body processes glucose over a set period to ensure accurate results. For the exact process, please watch the Instruction Video the day before your test.
What to Expect
A first blood sample will be taken at the start of the test.
You will then take the glucose drink.
You set the 2h timer on the test device.
A second blood sample will be taken at the end of the 2-hour testing period.
You scan the blue data record at the bottom of the device for the results to be sent to your healthcare professional.
It is important to remain available for the full duration of the test so all required measurements can be collected.
