Why did I get a second test, and what now?

You have received two tests around a single test date?

Your healthcare professional may have requested a second GTT@home test while your original kit was still in transit. If both kits arrive at the same time, it is generally not necessary to repeat the test. 

Your first test was scheduled a while ago?

For some gestational diabetes risk factors, it is advised to test on multiple occasions during the pregnancy. If you have received a GTT@home test around 16 weeks of gestation, you might be asked to test again at 24-28 weeks of gestation.

If your initial test was interrupted, for example due to vomiting during the test, Digostics will have automatically issued a replacement test unless you decline a re-test.
